Do I need to install anything?

No. Dubón OS runs 100% in your browser — on desktop, tablet or phone. There is nothing to download or install.

Is my data secure and separate from other businesses?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every business has its information fully separated and private — nobody else can see your clients, invoices or data.

Question 3

Is there a lock-in contract?

Accepted Answer

No. You can cancel any time, with no penalties and no forced contracts. Each month is billed up front at the start of your cycle, and if you cancel you keep access until the period you already paid for ends (that month is not refunded, but you are not charged for the next one either).

Question 4

Why is the price in US dollars? Can I still invoice my clients in Lempiras?

The dollar price is only what your Dubón OS subscription costs. Your business invoices your own clients in whatever currency you need — the Point of Sale bills directly in Lempiras or in Dollars, depending on how you work. They are two independent things.

Can I change plans later?

Yes. You can move up or down a plan at any time, based on what your business needs.

How do I pay?

What is the implementation fee?

A one-time fee (not monthly) to leave the system configured with your information, catalog and users — the exact time depends on how complex your business is. By default it is done online (live remote guidance); if you prefer it on-site at your business, that option is available too. It is quoted based on your needs and we confirm it when we contact you. To make the session as efficient as possible we recommend having your catalog, logo and business details on hand, and using a computer (not a phone or tablet) — on-site or remote, implementation always goes better from a computer.

Can I set the system up myself, without paying for implementation?

Yes — the system includes a step-by-step self-implementation guide (with AI help) for anyone who prefers to get set up on their own, at no extra cost. If you would rather we do it for you, assisted implementation (online or on-site) is available too.

Question 9

What is the difference between "support" and "implementation"?

Accepted Answer

Support is always free: fixing something that is not working the way it should. Implementation is the one-time fee at the start, to get you configured. Any new change you request after that initial stage (anything that is not fixing a defect) is quoted separately, at the same hourly rate as implementation.

Are Recommendations and My Accountant the same thing as the AI?

No — those come included with the system and run on fixed rules (they review your data and alert you on their own, e.g. overdue invoices or sales tax due). The AI Assistant and My Team are real artificial intelligence you talk to in plain language — that is why they are sold separately.

What exactly does the AI Assistant do?

It is an optional add-on with two sides: it handles quotes and questions from your clients over WhatsApp and the client portal, and it also works with you inside the system — it quotes, looks up clients, records payments, checks inventory, reads photos you send it (a client ID card, for example) and even reads your inbox with Email AI (it classifies every incoming message and drafts a quote or flags a payment on its own). It always asks you to confirm before creating or sending anything.

Are Email and Email AI the same thing? Do I need both?

They are not the same, and you do not need both — they solve different problems. Email is WHERE your mail lives (your own domain, e.g. sales@yourbusiness.com, instead of a generic Gmail). Email AI is WHAT happens to the messages that arrive (the AI classifies them, drafts quotes, suggests replies) — it works by forwarding, no matter who hosts your inbox. You can have one without the other: stay on Gmail and turn on only Email AI (we set up the forwarding), or have Email with no AI at all. If you already have Email with us, turning on Email AI is even simpler — we configure it ourselves, automatically.

Can I have several branches?

Yes — every plan includes 1 branch, and you can add as many as you need. Each additional branch is billed the same as an additional user on your plan (same price per month), prorated from the moment you add it. Each branch can have its own catalog, its own logo, and even its own public page on its own domain (Online Store add-on) — useful if, for example, one of your branches sells something different from the rest of your business.

How does Dubón OS compare with other business systems?

What is the CAI and why does my business need it?

Accepted Answer

The CAI (Código de Autorización de Impresión) is the code issued by Honduras’s tax authority (SAR) that makes your invoices fiscally valid. Dubón OS sets it up once alongside your RTN and authorized invoice range, and applies it automatically to every invoice you issue.

Can I invoice in Lempiras and in Dollars?

What happens to the invoices I already have in another system or in Excel?

They can be imported through Historical Upload, so your quote and invoice history is not lost when you move to Dubón OS.
