Privacy Policy

This is a courtesy translation. The Spanish version is the one that governs and is legally binding — read it at dubonos.com/privacidad.

Dubón OS is a product of Dubón IA, S. de R.L. ("Dubón IA", "we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect from you and your business, how we use it, and what control you have over it. If you are looking for a shorter, less formal summary of how we protect your information, visit our Security & Privacy page.

1. What information we collect

When you sign up and use Dubón OS, we collect:

  • Account data: name, email, phone, password (never stored in plain text).
  • Business data: trade name, address, and local tax identifiers or authorized ranges only when they apply to fiscal features confirmed for your location.
  • Data you upload to the system: your clients, suppliers, employees, quotes, invoices, inventory, and any other data you enter to run your business.
  • Usage data: basic technical information (IP address, device type, pages visited) to keep the system running and secure.

2. How we isolate your information

Every business subscribed to Dubón OS has its information completely separated from every other one — nobody else can see your clients, invoices, employees, or any other data of yours. This separation is real at the system level, not just screen permissions.

3. What we do NOT do with your information

We never sell or rent your information to third parties for marketing purposes. We do not share your clients' or employees' data with anyone outside the providers strictly necessary to operate the service (see section 4).

4. Providers we use to operate the service

For Dubón OS to work, some data passes through real infrastructure providers we already use today — each with its own specific role:

  • Hosting for the application and the database.
  • Sending system emails (confirmations, receipts, notifications).
  • Artificial intelligence features (e.g. classifying emails, reading an invoice from a photo, answering the AI Assistant) — only when you activate those features, and only with the information necessary for that specific task.
  • Sending WhatsApp messages, when you decide to send a quote or invoice through that channel.
  • Processing your subscription through the payment provider clearly identified before you pay.
  • Processing payments from your own customers only if you connect your own gateway; those funds go directly to your provider and never pass through the Dubón OS subscription.
  • Generating images and designs with artificial intelligence — when you request a design in the Designer or in the online store, the description you write is sent to Recraft, an external provider that generates the image. The designs that are generated are yours, and that provider does not use them to train its models.

None of these providers has permission to use your information for anything other than delivering the service to you.

5. Cookies and advertising

The public site (dubonos.com) uses the Google Ads tag to measure conversions — that is, to know whether someone who saw one of our ads ended up signing up. This places a technical Google cookie in your browser when you visit the public site; we do not use it to identify you inside the system once you are already a customer, nor do we share it with anyone else. You can block these cookies from your browser settings without affecting your access to the system.

6. Backup and data retention

We take a full daily backup of the database, stored outside our main hosting provider, with 30 days of retention — so a technical problem never means losing your business's information.

7. Your rights over your information

You can ask us at any time to: access a summary of what information we hold about your business, correct inaccurate data, or request deletion of your account and its information (subject to the legal obligations to retain tax/accounting records for the period required by Honduran law). Write to us at contacto@dubonos.com for any of these requests.

8. Changes to this policy

If we make significant changes to this policy, we will notify you by email or within the system before they take effect.

9. Contact
