Data Deletion

Last updated: August 7, 2026

This is a courtesy translation. The Spanish version is the one that governs and is legally binding — read it at dubonos.com/eliminar-datos.

If you used Dubón OS by signing in with your Facebook, Google, or another service's account, or if you simply want us to delete your account and your information, this page explains how to request that and what happens next. For your other rights over your information (accessing a summary, correcting a detail), visit our Privacy Policy.

1. How to request it

Write to us at contacto@dubonos.com from the email address you registered with, asking for your account to be deleted. This is not an automated process — a member of our team handles it, so if your email changed or you no longer have access to it, tell us in the same message so we can confirm it is really you.

2. How long it takes

We confirm your request and complete it within 30 days. If your account still has an active subscription, we will email you before proceeding, so it doesn't catch you by surprise.

3. What gets deleted, and what doesn't

If your account never became a paid subscription (for example, if you only tried it), we delete your account completely, along with everything you uploaded to the system — clients, quotes, employees, and the rest of your information.

If your account is, or ever was, a paid subscription, we cannot delete it completely: we remove your access (nobody at your business can log in again), but we keep your information for at least 3 months. That information includes invoices you already issued, which cannot be deleted even if you request it — Honduran tax law (SAR) requires us to keep billing records for the period the law sets, this is not our decision. If you want to use the system again later, your information is still there.

4. If the business leaving has its own clients

The client, invoice, and employee data that a subscribed business uploaded to its account belongs to that business, not to us — we only host it so the business can operate. If a subscribed business stops using Dubón OS, that information stays theirs under the same rules as point 3: it is kept while the legal obligation to retain it lasts, and only that business (not a third party) can ask us to delete it.
